What does God's Grace and Mercy look like?

Starting something new is intimidating! As I sat here creating this wonderful new adventure in my family's life, the thought of starting to write again robbed me of a sound mind. Then, my husband stepped in and reminded me, through God's grace, why I decided to start this in the first place. What this truly means to me. Sharing the ability to accept God's grace.

Into our bibles we dove, searching for what God gave to us. Then there it was 2 Peter 3:18. The very essence of what our foundation is. It reads "But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen". To increase in grace is to increase in the knowledge and fear of God through his only begotten son Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 2:8-9 connects God's grace to our faith in Jesus. Not by our works alone, but through the faith we have in him that came to save the world. There was a time in my life, I did not know God. I was lost and felt so alone. When I came to first know Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, it was hard to believe all I had done could be forgiven. I felt...unforgivable. Through walking with others through faith, I felt that connection that was broken. Romans 3:23-24 is a reminder that all of us are sinners, yet we are justified freely through Jesus Christ. The passage tells us that it is a free gift of mercy through God's grace.

The way God leads us down a narrow path of righteousness is a wonderful blessing. I hope and pray these pages across this website can bless you and help you to hold on to the foundation of God's grace. The world brings destruction and chaos, when God brings good and peace.

Ephesians 2:8-9

"8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast."
